Courier-Journal Basketball Media day

Yesterday the Courier-Journal conducted basketball media day for the upcoming season for both boys and girls. For all of you die hards, you can click on this link and scroll to the bottom and listen in on a particular team of interest to you. Thanks to the Courier for having a media day.

I watched a couple more---according to eastern coach mishler hasn't been cleared as of yesterday???

I picked up on that as well. She will probably be cleared, but even if she isn't Eastern is in the mix of winning the 7th region. I would put them right behind Male and Manual.

Eastern will have a chance to make their case as a top team in the region early in the season when they take on Sacred Heart at home on Dec 15th.

On a serious note, does anyone know when Male/Manual play? Green/McCune should be an epic battle?

Does Sacred Heart have any depth at center to battle McCune or Green?

Male seems to be considered the #1 team in the state or at least #2 along with Etown. The CJ seemed to have mostly local teams attend which makes sense. But how many Louisville teams do you think will be in the top 20 in the state? If all the teams that have been mentioned are competitive with Male, should be an interesting year in Louisville. Are there any teams that weren't mentioned going to compete in the region? I know CAL's coach and I believe they were pretty competitive last year.
