Public Independent school I think someone else had said in a different thread. I am not sure what the Independent means. I don't know if county kids can go to the school or if all the kids are from the city.

Its a "city" school who takes outside kids should they have room.

It just means that they have their own school board and are not part of the county school system.

I dont think the Lexington school have a home field advatage. I mean where else are you going to play this tournment at the Louisville Bats field or at the University of Louisville then all the Louisville schools will have homefield. There is no way to get around it, Applebee's is a nice place and the tournament needs to stay there.
