1) Male High School (10-0, Defeated Western 56-0) – Easy win over a struggling team. Next game versus Jeffersontown should be about the same.

 

2) Trinity High School (9-1, Idle) – Rocks get a week off before their rematch with PRP.

 

3) St. Xavier High School (6-4, defeated Cincy St. X 20-10) – Not a terrible loss. Next week versus Eastern should be a snoozer.

 

4) DuPont Manual High School (8-2, Defeated Eastern 35-16) Pretty much as expected. Rematch versus Ballard next week. Manual will be favored.

 

5) Central (8-2, Defeated PRP) Central just keeps on winning. Next week versus Western Hills

 

6) Fern Creek (9-1 Idle) Next week is Bullitt Central, the Yellow Jackets should take this game easily.

 

7) Elizabethtown (10-0, Defeated Glasgow 35-6) Etown should finish off their regular season perfect when they conclude the regular season with Fort Campbell.

 

8) St. Francis DeSales (8-2, Defeated Southern 40-13) – No surprise, should beat Green County to finish the regular season also.

 

9) Christian Academy of Louisville (8-2, Defeated Franklin Co 27-8) Nice win for CAL, next week versus Metcalfe County shouldn’t be too much of a game.

 

10) Pleasure Ridge Park (5-5, Lost to Central 45-19) PRP just couldn’t catch a break the second half of this regular season losing five of the last six to very high quality opponents (ie Male, Trinity, X Manual and now Central). Unfortunately for PRP, next week they get Trinity again.

Game of the Week – Etown versus Fort Campbell

If you're going to include Etown in Louisville power rankings, I would think you'd also include South Oldham and Shelby County, both of which I'd rank above PRP.

DeSales ahead of CAL, how so??? CAL beat them a few weeks ago and has done nothing but win since. Please explain???

I promise you that if they played John Hardin and Central Hardin they would be 0-2. Further confirms my statements that rankings are based on records regardless of competition
