Big school? Enrollment is around 600. School took a turn for the worst when the current principal was hired, and she made this ludicrous claim that the school was going to focus on school and not necessarily athletics. She's done a heck of job because she's been through 3-4 coaches in her short stint and test scores have dropped since she's been there.

Finnegan was one of the best coaches to ever be on a JCPS bench. Hard to believe he's never been honored by the school.

They also have a built in middle school. Shame most of the good talent ends up at Fern Creek and JTown.

KHSAA website indicates an enrollment of 949 for grades 9-12 for the 13-14 school year.

That might be how much the building can hold but they don't have close to that many kids in high school. Someone noted above they (administration) doesn't take athletics seriously. Plus JCPS allowing kids to go all over the county to any school doesn't help.

I know that Moore has a 6'5" Junior that is playing this year. Plus a couple of other good players. Don't count them out.

Moore has so much coaching turnover, it is hard to get any consistency. I think the last 5 years, there has been a different coach each year. That doesn't do the kids any justice...
