October 15, 201510 yr Two totally unbelievable, crazy, absurd half-innings...and they both happen in the 7th inning. I have watched a lot of baseball over the years, and don't believe I have seen anything like that.
October 15, 201510 yr I turned it on at the very end of the first delay. HPU made it worse by incorrectly calling "time" while the runner was heading home. Ultimately, they got it right as there is a rule provision that would allow the run to score despite "time" being called. Toronto fans certainly hurt the town and club's image.
October 15, 201510 yr Author Kudos to Odor for being heads up on the play. I'm sure there could've been quite a few players who would've automatically assumed the ball was dead. I don't have a dog in the fight (with regards to who won), but I did start rooting for the Blue Jays at that point, because even though the call was correct, I hate to see teams lose due to what I'd term a non-baseball play. (Part of the reason why I really detested the Utley call the other night for the Dodgers). But, then look at the bottom of the inning. The team with all of the momentum commits back-to-back-to-back errors to start the inning?!? Andrus was probably ready to dig a hole and crawl in it.

If it had happened in the 2nd or 3rd inning and they were already up a run or two...then, yeah...drill him. But after what just happened in the top of the inning and what all transpired before him getting to the plate, who doesn't dream of being "that guy"? I can totally excuse his reaction in this instance.

Moonwalking to first base 2. blowing a kiss to the pitcher 3. Yelling "we got you, ....." to the pitcher 4. Walking around the bases with your hands up in the air taking in the adulation All extreme but are any over the line?
