I a sophomore Michael Bush's senior year, and that is one of best Male teams I've personally seen. How does this years Male team compare to the '02 Male team?

 

Also, we had two-a-days leading up to that game too. If memory serves me correct, we used the Atherton week to prepare for Male during the morning before school.

LTR - Given the Wolford era is 20 - 12 as it stands today, this is a big game against a No.1 ranked opponent. 2013 ended up 7 - 5 with a loss to Male (21-23) in the 2nd Round of the playoffs. 2014 ended up 8 - 5 with a loss to Trinity (3 - 9) in Regional Final. 2015 is 5 -2 so far!!! A W would be huge for the Tigers to gain some late season momentum heading into the playoffs. YES it would be a game for the Wolford administration to say we accomplished something!!!!! Wish I , Would A, Should A gets you nothing. Its time for the Tigers to play Tiger Football!!!!!!

Yeah, last years win over T was a big win, but I believe this would be the biggest win in the Wolford Era. While he beat T last year and Cincy St. X in his first year, beating Male this year would be huge for the perception of the program.

The best X could do is have M/T play each other before meeting the winner in the 3rd round. Which is exactly what they did last year.

Yes. When it was stated about X being on the opposite side of the break, the comment was referring to the regional bracket. Which is best case scenario for all three teams. On any given day, either one of the "Big 3" can knock each other out. Might as well go through one of them instead of two!

Last year, Male was the #1 with home field advantage. In the event X can pull off the upset tomorrow, X will most likely get the #1 with home field - and send Male/T to the opposite side (advantage St X). Although it might seem to be the same path to most, in my opinion it isn't even close. A win by the Tigers tomorrow would send Male to Trinity in the 2nd round. And in the event Male won that game, the Bulldogs would travel back to X for Regional Final.

 

A lot on the line for both teams tomorrow. In my opinion, it would be by far the biggest win of the Wolford Era.

In addition to the #1 seed and sending Male to the other side of the bracket with Trinity, we ARE talking about the 13th Ranked team in the Country (Male). I can only imagine a win by St X would mean so much to the Tiger faithful.

 

I'm still sticking to my previous thought and feel like Male will win by 3 or more TD's. The Bulldogs are worthy of the 13 ranking in the US. But like I said before, I was impressed with the grit X displayed in the T game and you never know what will happen in a game like this.

 

I hope for a competitive game!

X will need to play at their best and cannot miss opportunities, capitalizing on big plays when they're on offense and getting off the field when they're on defense. Special teams will be key for X, if they can flip field position with their special teams there's a chance they can put themselves in a spot to pull of the upset. It will take a lot for the Tigers to win, and X has a difference maker at the QB position, which if he plays to his potential could be a special night for the Tigers.
