Johnson Central 52 East Carter 7

Featured Replies

About what I expected probably could have been worse I didn't make this one. Does anyone know who scored from East? And Johnson Central, I plan on attending the Ashland/JC game so I would like to know who scored from them as well!

This game could have been much much worse. JC scored TD's on their 1st an 5th plays from scrimmage and from that point on the first string offense and defense did not play as a unit the entire night. 5 different backs scored the first 5 TD's and the JV/Freshman played the entire 2nd and 4th quarters minus a few snaps.

Tyler Pack was impressive again tonight going 7/7 XP, 1/1 FG (46 yards), and 6/8 on touch backs.

Matney ran more 4 wide sets and got his backup and 3rd string QB's lots of reps. More quick outs and 5-7 yard slants as well. The passing game will be a go to weapon in the playoffs. In summary, this game was as expected as the strength of JC was just too much.

Bryce Skaggs with two TD's, Steven Gound Receiving TD, Joe Jackson TD, Gunner Slone TD, Bryce Workman TD, and I believe Conner Ratliff scored the final TD (dont quote me on the last one). East Carter scored late in the first half against the freshman team (minus the freshman who see regular varsity minutes). Not sure the name or number though.

Your going to watch Ashland/JC instead of your raiders vs Rowan? I was right. A new beginning.....same ending. I thought u would at least make it through the season. Coach Champlin will be very disappointed.

Sometimes fans of teams also just appreciate good football. Not that I'm saying Rowan and East won't be a good game, but the premier game that night will be Ashland/JC, unless both teams implode between now and then.

You give RaiderPride a hard time on here, I'm sure it's harmless and in good fun and your schools are rivals, so it makes sense. But if he wants to go watch another game while his school is playing, it doesn't make him any less of an East Carter fan, it just means he enjoys the sport as a whole.

Thank you! I just ignore him and the other guy, they'll be off their high horse next year when West is worse than East is this year.

I guarantee I'm not the only one who will miss their teams game for this one. East also has a good chance to beat Rowan so it's not like I'm "giving up" on them. Just want a chance to watch the number one game in the area all year.

Enjoy yourself, you deserve to see a good game.
