Coach Napier always told us some parents are "idiots" and to stay away from them, he was right once again! Looks like we have another perfect example! If you played for him you respect everything he did, he not only made you a better player, but a better person, now I don't agree with some of the tactics he used, but don't knock a guy for over 30 years of dedication to BCPWFL.

I pray my kids never go to a school where the principal is not evaluated on the schools athletic success. That is scary. I hope my kids are always somewhere where academics come first.

The Principal for Boone County H.S. does put academics first and is doing a fine job.

What Boone sports compete "statewide?"

 

Football needs a lot of players. You can get by in basketball with 7 players and only 2 of them being "really good." You can't do that in football.

Boone Boys' soccer went to final 4 in 2012 and lost to eventual champions.

 

The 2013 team was maybe even better but, alas, lost in regionals.
