Shout-out to Mason County boys and girls.

 

Boys won the 8th region tourney by 16 shots over runnerup Bourbon County, with senior Tyler Lippert birdieing the final three holes to win the individual title by 2 shots.

 

Girls finish as runners-up to Scott County and make their 8th straight state tourney appearance; with junior Sarah Fite claiming the individual title by a shot.

I was there watching, it was a very impressive finish. He didn't have his A game Monday but showed up when it mattered.

^ A game is pretty decent if he can shoot par in the rain under pressure.
