Coach Petty was th boys JV coach under Ken Shields at HHS for many years. He then moved on to coach under Mike Listerman ( another Shields disciple) at Cov Cath. Then I think he was involved with Dixies girls program. He is coming out of retirement to take his new assignment at HHS. I played for Listerman, Petty, and Shields at HHS. That was quite a group of coaches to have in a program at the same time. I was thrilled to hear that HHS had hired coach Petty. He will be a great asset to Coach Richey and the program.

BUSTER'S BACK!! Let the lip-biting begin!! Excellent coach, master motivator, defensive-minded...and just one of the best people I've been involved with in athletics!...and life!

IRISH INVADE HHS!! Joe Finnegan, AAU coach and former #2 guy at NCC when they were making all their title runs has come over to the light at HHS. He inherits the Lady Bird Frosh, which should be loaded...if Buster doesn't raid the nest!!

Who is he?

Brian Walz is the former HHS FB coach Roger Walz' son and Jaime Richey's brother. Less you think nepotism was at play, Brian was an outstanding athlete in his own right as a Bird!! Good Luck to Big Bear in his future endeavors!
