Awesome offense, but very vanilla and soft defense, especially on the side of Lafayette. Disappointed that it was not more a defensive game.

Isn't Lafayettes coach a defensive guy? Played Dline, that should never happen with the talent that is on that team. Make excuses for the guy if you want to but that is real real bad.

I have not seen the game replay but watched the 4Q on youtube and saw Lemon's tweets on the game. I bet TOP heavily favored Scott County. Lafayette was scoring on quick, long plays during the catch-up. The General defense looked simply worn out late in the game - even when the game was still close early in the 4th. Big play offenses are great to watch but it puts pressure on the D when they have to get back out on the field quickly.
