Bowling Green 12 Warren Central 0 - 5:30 1st. Fant returns free kick to Dragon 11, but Purples manage only a 23 yd FG.

Good deal. Sweep the leg.

Warren Central drives 76 yards but can't get the last 4, turning over on downs at the Bowling Green 4. 8:59 left in the half.

#Endure

#Survive

Bowling Green 25 Warren Central 0 - HALF. All Purples in the first half thanks to 19 point first quarter. Dragons will start with ball.

It's hard to call the second quarter TD by Bowling Green backbreaking when they were clearly not going to be seriously threatened, but it was definitely a spirit killer. First and goal from the 4 with a chance to make it 19-7, and two runs net zero yards, a pass on third down that should have been caught is broken up by nice timing on a hit in the end zone, and a fourth down pass is broken up. Second down from the 4, Purples hit a 96 yard hitch-pitch to give us the current score. Huge swing.

One positive for Warren Central D has been their pass rush. They've sacked Payne 3 times. Bowling Green has had trouble with giving up sacks, but the Dragons have had trouble getting them too.

Anything new?
