For the playing time with missing practice...........does the Coach have a policy and does he stick with that policy in the heat of the match.......that is the question....

 

....missing practice for a school function or say a college visit, excused? probably....

 

....for sickness or another none school reason......probably shouldn't

 

If anyone has what team policy was communicated prior to the season, it would be interesting to know.....and probably let us know if there is an issue or not......but to be honest, you would hope that the players know the policy and no one else matters........and that is all that matters.....parents don't need to know.....Young adults in a program......

I'm not sure that anyone can fairly make a point regardless of what the policy was stated. The only way you can is if you know the reason for a kid missing practice. I've been in situations where the kid didn't want their friends to know why they missed so they told them one thing when they were actually missing for a very important reason.

My point? What would this resolve unless you know why a player really missed?

Just checked the video again to be sure I remembered it correctly. Player did not get beat badly and tackle from behind. It was HHS kickoff and SH jumped a lazy back pass. Outside back was wide for the kickoff, sprinted back to try to cleanup the mess others made of the kickoff and she made shoulder to shoulder contact in the box. I've seen that called and not called.
