My dad recently traded for a teryx upgrading from his older side by side. They wanted around $1000 to put in stereo and speaker system. I've not done this yet, but told him we could probably get a blue-tooth speaker setup that he could play pandora etc. from his phone and that would work much better. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with this. My initial thought is a beats pill or something along those lines that could be mounted and easily removed from the vehicle.

$1000? I just put a new stereo and speakers in my truck for less than $500 (that was me doing the work). I could have done it for under $200 if I wanted to go cheap on the hardware. Just curious why so much? I wouldn't think it would be much different putting one in a side by side? Actually probably easier.

I think they take the top off and mount everything etc. I've been browsing some side by side forums (don't tell guru) but I'm finding stuff much cheaper just curious about the best way to do this.

Put a Pyle Hydra waterproof mp3/ipod marine power amp and speakers on ours. It was $300 or less and sounds great.
