So sorry. We've had to do it too, and it's rough. Get another dog in a couple of months. It worked for us. Prayers!

HB, I couldn't even open up this thread until today, because it hurts my heart so badly thinking of losing a dog. Just know that so many of us understand your love for him and mourn with you.
