Your guess is as good as mine. I have a feeling you will see McElwain out of the wildcat a bunch tonight but not sure. Their other QB is a Freshman and we may see him some as well.

 

I think that as you stated earlier that the Special Teams and Defense will still be too much for North Hardin since none of the injury's are with defense and the return job will probably be Brycen Lacey or Hayes. Lacey had the 90 yard Kick return last week against Central Hardin.

I was afraid of this game at the beginning of the year before the injuries they are very athletic and nice size they run an open offense they will score points central Hardin didn't scare because they run Wing T and the smiths know how to stop it better than anyone

I ultimately think this will benefit South. This game will very likely be close now. This will allow Coach Smith to draw up a formal Plan B. Litton will be back which is good, but you never know when he could go down again in a much bigger situation. This will prepare for that.

 

If I'm North Hardin, I come out of the field house throwing the ball. ALL GAME because you will not run it on South. My concern for South is if NH can stop the run, I think they can control play from the standpoint of getting the ball back to their offense for another crack at throwing the ball.

 

Ultimately though, South is better than NH and will win through defense and special teams.

If South keeps the field short and keeps North Hardin pinned deep like they have everyone else then South will be fine in the end and I agree that this will help South going forward.
