How did OC stay at #4 after a loss to owensboro?

Mayfield stays at the top. Will they be able to remain there after playing a McCracken County team that normally plays them well? DeSales or CAL, who should really be number two? Is Murray deserving after last week? How well will LCA play this week? Should they be higher? Who has an argument to be in the Top 10? Who moves down after this week?

They lost to a team you could argue for as #1 in 5A by a touchdown.

In addition behind them, Murray got crushed by an unranked team.. Danvilel got crushed by Boyle.. NewCath got their first win of the year

Personally, for my money, I'd rank NCC at #3 , CAL at #4 and OB Cath #5 . Then the last 5 of Danville, LCA, Murray, Lloyd and Monroe, in that order. I'd probably swap Desales and Mayfield, as well, although, it's pretty much a coin toss there.

In all honesty, I believe Mayfield and DeSales are the two top teams, who is #1 ...beats me...but it will take a really really good 2A team to top Mayfield or just a bad night.

Whom so ever shall face the giant Mayfield will need a little favor from the Gods of the turf....or just get a few breaks and play their best football. Any team running on all cylinders can do it...but WILL it be done? That's what I can't wait to see.....TBC....
