The Ashland Daily Independent (local paper) reported this morning that Boyd Co.'s Tyler Gatrell has withdrawn his letter of intent with Marshall and has signed with U.K., Tyler is now a BatCat. Good luck to Tyler and I personally am glad that you have made that choice. Marshall granted his release on this.

Very good player and have a great career at UK.

The last Boyd County player to play at UK(Caleb Stewart) is now in the Minors and on the verge of making it big.....So good luck to Tyler.....

Yeah they had a nice article on him playing for the Brooklyn Cyclones in the New York Post last year
