I'm surprised as well. Anyone know how JJ Jude did?

Jude and Zach Harris (highlands) split carries at super back. Harris was the starter, but Jude did very well in his tiger debut. He also returns kicks. The issue with gtown this year is going to be their o line. I believe they gave up 6 sacks yesterday, and had several drive killing penalties.

Really hoping that JJ gets a chance to show what he can do this season. I'm sure it was a hard choice to leave EKU.

Hate to hear this score.

I heard Gtown had two fumbles in the red zone.

JJ had 73 yards on 11 carries.

New O coordinator and faces on offense. This team will peak late

GTown did not play well at all. The problem is the consistency. O-Line gave up six sacks. What save GTown was their screen game. Ran seven screens for almost 100 yards. JJ had a heck of a game along with Terry Johnson at the superback positions. Both had over seventy yards.

GTown came out and scored 17 points on their first three drives, and then the offense stalled the rest of the half. At halftime, the stats were lopsided, but the score was 17-14. CU only had 6 rushing yards at halftime....but GC has a bigger test this weekend: Lindsey Wilson.

Gtown was up 17 to 7 in the first half, then Cumberland scored a touchdown with under a minute to go in the first half. Cumberland received the second half kickoff and scored a TD on the first play from scrimmage. Double reverse pass.

The Tigers had the ball inside the Cumberland's 25 yard line four times in the second half and did not come away with any points. Two fumbles lost, and two turn the ball over on downs. Very tough to overcome.

Hopefully they will get things fixed this week against Lindsey Wilson. Offensive line was struggling in pass protection for most of the game, and the defense played well overall, but gave up several big plays for touchdowns.

Early loss for the Tigers may helped get them focused for the rest of the year.
