To note, this week (week 1 for which he was player of the week, Highlands game was week 0) they beat NCC 35-0 and he was 13/21 for 194 yards and 2 touchdowns. He added 62 critical yards on the ground as well as a running touchdown.

The KHSAA does the Week 0 thing but most people don't count that way so for the player of the week it was the Week 1 game.
