tark the shark
Nice win for the Juggs! They have upgraded their schedule from last year. Needed this one to come out the gates. Rest up, Lloyd Alum Coach Noel Rash will lead the Beechwood Tigers into E-town for the first time in a decade next week. JOHNDUNHOFT
Congrats Jugg's and to Mr. Fann's first game as the new QB what a tremendous young man to talk to he has matured so much in a year. I understand that about a lot of the new Jugg's this year maturity and tradition is back. Good luck next week against the Beechwood Tiger's and Lloyd Alumni Coach Rash. Walter
Really good game last night by Juggs jr Lashunn Townsend...kid is a playmaker and one of the best in the area for his class. Walton jumped out to a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter but Lloyd responded with back to back td drives to take the lead back. Lloyd was driving late up 20-14 and had a chance to ice the game but fumbled inside WV 20 to give Walton one last chance. Walton scores on a long Richardson run to tie the game but miss the XP. Walton had a chance to take the lead on their next possession but fumbled inside the Lloyd 10 to set up Lloyd's game winning drive with about 2 mins left. Lloyd on their final drive got a really nice catch and run by Townsend on 3rd and long, followed by a 15 yard personal foul to put them at WV 30 or 20, setting up Charles Gaines game winning catch with 40 seconds left on a jumpball over a WV defender. Lloyd has some athletes with Gaines, Townsend, soph Jamorrow Dawson, Justin Durham, and Dashon Lunsford. Also have some big boys up front. I was impressed with the Lloyd QB. Struggled with the quick stuff but threw a really nice deep ball and showed some athleticism when the pocket collapsed several times. For Walton, they struggled with special teams. I believe Lloyd blocked maybe two field goals and also a punt. Richardson, Pettyjohn, and Halsey Page all had good games for the Bearcats.

Weakside
Congrats to Coach Turner and Lloyd on the W. Good effort but sloppy performance by the Bearcats. Way to many penalties by WV....and some of which brought back some big plays. Good luck to Lloyd moving toward.
