Stra Trek; Enterprise

I've actually been going back through The Next Generation recently. At some point I suppose I'll get around to watching Enterprise but until this recent go-through, I hadn't watched Star Trek at all since bailing on Voyager during its original run.

Has anyone else watched this "prequel" to the original series? I didn't catch it when it first aired, watching it now on Netflix. Just started season 2, enjoying it.

I watched it when it first aired. Started with a lot of promise and kind of fizzled out, really don't remember a whole lot of details about it. The finale has been pretty much universally panned as the worst Star Trek episode in any of the series.

Really? Huh, never heard that. I guess at my rate of watching several episodes a night it won't be to much longer till I get to the finale.

I found the finale anti-climactic. Then again, like Schue, I didn't like Scott Bakula as Captain Archer. I've seen an episode of NCIS NO. Don't care for him in that either.

However, Sub-Commander T'Pol, Jolene Blalock, was smokin' hot. Somebody must have complained, though, because they toned her sexuality down considerably in season 4.

The appearance of Seth McFarlane in a couple of episodes of season 4 caught me off guard.

Note that all of the Star Trek spin-offs stayed on the air longer than the original series.

I'm working on season 3 of the re-mastered original series on Amazon Prime, right now.

I'll spend this winter getting reacquainted with the crew of NCC-1701-D.

Found a list the other day of top 20 worst Star Trek shows (all renditions of the show). The Star Trek; Enterprise finale came in somewhere around 15 I think. Surprisingly there were several original Star Trek episodes listed. Just someone's opinion though. The day after reading the list, I actually saw one of the Star Trek; Enterprise episodes that was on the list. Wasn't horrible, and it was quite obvious that the author of the list evidently didn't notice the subtleties of the episode that disproved the reasons he stated that made it bad.
