Aren't the Union teams a part of this league now? Any scores from the Raiders or Jags?

 

Neither are part of the NKY Middle School league and I am not really sure where they play. Neither are Middle School teams, they are feeder programs.

Anybody out there know what league they play in? If any.

The union Raiders play an out in the state schedule. So they play other MS teams just like a MS team and play in the state playoffs. I believe the Jags play in the same league as the South Kenton Lions, Red Devils and the like

Jags are in the Boone County Peewee league now.

I guess nobody know the score of Tichenor vs Sharp??? Plantmanky??

Union Raiders 7th and 8th are Middle School teams. They play as an independent in the Ky State Middle School Association. They have tried to play the Middle School teams from Kenton County for years, but some of their coaches/administrators will not play Union. Completely short sided on their part since it would help all teams involved and would be good for the kids. The reason always given is that Union has a couple of kids from Ockermann in their program, which is true, but all kids on the team will go to Ryle. Funny, since Boone is closed enrollment and Kenton County is open and they use that as an excuse. At least Summit View disregarded this stupidity and played Union in the Battle of Union this year. It was a good game between two good programs and helped both teams.

Not needed either way. The Union program in my opinion is doing great things and a very competitive team with anybody they play. I am in no way trying to bash or discredit them. They are doing good things for future Ryle teams.
