Summit View and Union didn't play in it. Union played South Kenton.

Union to play in Middle School leagues isn't comparing apples to apples. Ockerman and Gray would need to field their own teams for that. South Kenton, most of Twenhofel and Summit View will all go to Simon Kenton so if they field a team together, then it would be the same.

 

My apologies.. You are right about South Kenton playing instead of Summit View. I don't think that it is comparing apples to oranges though. Some of our players still play in the Boone County pee wee league just like Simon. The point was that all the kids that play on our team legitimately will go to Ryle. We do not have a mixture of kids that will feed other schools besides Ryle. I should have worded better. From what I have heard and I could be wrong, Summit View is not one of the teams that was in favor of not playing Union.

I wouldn't know honestly. Summit View did play at the battle of Union scrimmages but was in the morning group. Union also played in it prior years when it was hosted at Summit View.
