After watching several games this past weekend, it's going to be a really competitive soccer season in NKY. There's probably 1 or 2 teams that should be ranked and the rest are all a toss-up depending on who they're playing (at this point in time and will change come October).

 

Several teams showed flashes of optimism but others showed signs of trying to find the right mix, Ryle playing a 3-5-2. Way too many attacks from the middle of the field trying to dribble through defenders. Very few goals on set pieces or corner kicks (it's still early).

Hard to really comment on the CCH/BB game from the CCH perspective given all the mixed lineups that were used by CCH. It appeared that it was more of an individual talent evaluation than a team audition/scrimmage. Cole Stava, Adam Flynn and Michael Wessels all injured for CCH and not playing. Disjointed effort at best by the Colonels. Brossart struggled with possessing the ball.

 

I love Geiman's game. A physical presence in the mid field is (IMO) very important to dictating how a game will be played.

Cooper lost to a down highlands team, good thing they have that new assistant over there....... Lol

Highlands 2-1 I heard Cooper goalie situation is comical

 

Who Is Cooper's new assistant coach? And I see Highlands having a good year.
