Harrison County and Scott High Rained Out

Featured Replies

Campbell did cancel the first game. It was a similar situation to the one Harrison had. The field was wet when the call was made to cancel it, with more rain showing on the radar. It was dry enough at gametime but the call had to be made earlier in the day. It had nothing to do with Harrison not wanting to come up. As a matter of fact, both Coaches tried to reschedule the game but neither had an opening on the same day. It's a tough call for all coaches this time of year with the unpredictable weather, that's why they all overschedule. There are bound to be several rainouts during the spring season. I agree with Hilltopper on this one.

The way it has turned out, Harrison has only played 1 game this week and hopefully will get to play Scott County on Friday. The time they need to be on the field aganst some stiffer competition the most, the weather has sure dampened those opportunities. The Breds are young and inexperienced and can use as much game situation and good competition as they can get. These late season rainouts have really hurt.
