He considered an airport as a target but apparently it lost out to the movie theater because of a few reasons, one being security. And on top of that, there were 7 theaters within 20 miles (maybe it was minutes) of his house that were showing the Batman premier. 6 of them allow concealed carry. Guess which one he chose? Not the closest one.
