July 6, 201511 yr The movie IRobot, right? Actually the book by Asimov was the original reference. Its actually a solid set of rule for any 'robot'. That includes any self-actuating machine - like airbags in cars. As contrast a military landmine is a robot that would go counter to the first law. As we depend more and more on robotic things - like self-driving cars - these laws should get a little more focus.
