OK.... so I hate to rain on this parade but I have to ask CooperRyle. You stated that she is one of the best ever to come out of this area but she doesn't have the height, speed, quickness or is very good on defense. What am I missing? I also no she isn't a very good shooter.

I think we are over inflating the young girl. I hope she does excellent and should jump at the Xavier scholarship first second she can. I know a lot about the pressure at a division 1 program and I have to tell you. If you don't have speed, athleticism, quickness or a lock down defender you better be 6' 5" or better in the girls game or it will be a very short career.

 

I hope she does well and proves me wrong because I hope every kids gets to live out that dream. But overhype can be a problem as well.

Said she could be one of the best, big difference. Has 3 more years. Can score at will, just needs to improve in some areas. If she does then yes could be one of the best. Held her own with best there is over the summer.

If you consider hype off of Bluegrass Preps from armchair quarterbacks a problem then I'm speechless. The three coaches I have as friends use it as stress relief humor, if you consider it to be anymore than that....don't.

THIS! This is all she needs to worry about. It will come. She's never gonna get paid to play basketball, so putting pressure on a young lady to play at that highest level possible is never a good thing. If she gets her school paid for and gets to play as much as SHE wants...what level that is makes no difference. Just hope for no injuries and that X is the first of many offers.

I'm sure that the young lady will continue to fine tune her game over the next few years but I really like her basketball IQ. You can tell she's played a ton of basketball. She'll be a monster once she goes 100% all of the time.
