Unmarked 747

Featured Replies

You're kidding right? :)

I googled it but no I wasn't kidding. Unmarked jets always have a purpose...usually government employees or something along those lines.

If its taking off or in the air check flighttracker.

The 'heavys' are easy to spot on the graphical interface.

In an eery coincidence just a few minutes ago, the unmarked 747 took off right over me on my drive into work (CVG = Covington, fyi.)

I got a really good look at it. Clearly a freighter since there are no windows down the side. Top is solid white and bottom is blue.

Completely unmarked. So it probably is a leased freighter...just weird to see it over and over again.

Not that weird... in fact 5 747's left CVG this morning... all freighters, all bound for different parts of the world.

An unmarked plane is a good business decision for leasing companies to lease it's planes to airlines as needed since the paint job is "neutral". And it saves $$$ - it costs a ton to paint a 747.

The paranoia on here at times is laughable. Seeing an unmarked plane automatically triggers the "government/secret mission/secret cargo/UFO/Chem trail" reaction in some. It's just a leased freighter. You can come out of your survival cave, aka your mom's basement.

Wow I really thought it was a spy plane.
