June 29, 201511 yr ^Good luck to your son at GSP! I hope he loves it. It took my kids a short few days to get adjusted and get used to being away from family. But by the end, there was lots of hugs and tears as they said goodbye to their peers and staff.
June 29, 201511 yr Pretty boring. Yes. We actually stopped for gas at the exit just prior to Leitchfield. While we were inside getting drinks, the radio was blaring a tornado warning, and the radar showed some bad storms on the way. My wife wanted to stay in the convenience store. Of course, being a typical man, I said it didn't look that bad and I thought we could get ahead of it. BIG MISTAKE. We barely got on the road and a major storm hit us full force. I'll be honest, I was scared. I was never so happy to get to the Leitchfield exit and find some place to park and calm our nerves. My wife didn't say "I told you so", and I am thankful for that. I did apologize profusely for being stupid though. You got gas in Clarkson then. Thankfully it's not too far to Leitchfield from there! Glad you made it safely!

Wouldn't have affected the time much at all, despite what those map programs tell you.
