Great ballgame. Neither team hit well, probably 6 hits each. Both teams played solid error free ball as expected. Curley decided it with one swing of the bat. Hope to see a rematch in the end of May.

How could you miss that one?

Had to work!!!! I am bummed.

Super baseball game between two very solid teams. It is so nice to see a high school game with no errors, some nice plays, kids giving it everything they had like running through a fence to catch a fly ball, etc. Hats off to Chris and the Beechies. Great day for a game and great game.

I'am just glad Babs and the play was not in left field...there would have been a building down there missing some bricks....hahahh

It may have been an Excedrin or 911 moment. That would have been a great play for video watching the fence get detonated.

Buck Sholwalter would of walked him, what were they thinking? Chris is my POY easy.

The correct spelling for Tommy is Bankemper

Isn't he like their #3 or 4 pitcher?

Isn't he like their #3 or 4 pitcher?

Who? Humphrey? No...he used to be #1 but due to some arm issues the Beechwood game was his first start. I think he has only threw 5 innings this year. The Collins kid that came in to relieve Hump is probably # 3 or 4.

Actually, I was talking about the BW pitcher.

There are pictures of this in Ernst's blog:
