Tommy did a good job, between him and Elliot they only gave up 7 hits.

 

Beechwood only got 5 hits though. Don't they usually hit the ball better then that?

Bankemper pitched very well and had excellent control. His great control was the key and he fielded his position well, too. Ryle's pitchers threw very well, too, holding the Beechies to 5 hits - we just got bit by Chris at crunch time and he definitely went down to get a tough pitch. It was certainly a great game to watch even though we lost.
