bballnerd enlighten us on what the issues are at Cooper?

Mr. Hellbird instead of making excuses for Cooper just congratulate the winning team. I've been around the game a long time and have never seen a school/program with as many excuses as Cooper has. Every year there's an excuse why they can't win a meaningful game and advance to the region. It seems to me that they need better talent and better coaching. Congratulations to the Boone players and coaches on another job well done. Good luck the rest of the way!

I don't see where HB made an excuse. He said of the 9 runs scored, 2 were unearned. Also by saying Cooper is snake bitten doesn't mean that he's making excuses. It means they haven't gotten it done in the postseason.

Individually at each position, Cooper has talented players. Collectively they often struggle as a team. Is that a reflection on the players or coaching? There was no off season conditioning program at the school this past season. I do not know about all the other schools in the district, but I would imagine most if not all have some type of off season conditioning program.

Ball nerd you sound like you have an axe to grind with the coach, bitter parent?

Dutch. No I do not have an axe to grind, nor am I a bitter parent. I do not recall me saying anything personal or negative about the coach. I was asked my opinion and I stated two facts.

Anyone got an update in the ryle vs Conner game?

Really good championship game. Boone was down 5-0 after 2 innings and then Battled their way back to 5-4. Game ended with the tieing run on third in the bottom of 7th. Congratulations to Ryle.

Wouldn't want to face either of these teams in the region, both will be tough outs.

I don't think anyone made any excuses. I think I stated how bad Cooper played. Did I or anyone else say if they didn't play so bad they would have won? No.

I said they played bad and if you actually watched the game

you would know that was ugly baseball.

Maybe they should hire Hellbird as coach. He seems to know everything.

Show me where I ever made an excuse.

I was at the game yesterday though and enjoyEd watching a great game. Glad Ryle

won.
