Bengals 2015 Draft Picks

Featured Replies

Will see.

You said same thing last year and then you disapperaed from that talk after he didn't make the roster. Which he still won't make it unless their are injuries. He is a great workout guy but never has shown that great of running back skills. He may get better but this roster will be hard to make. His best bet would to end up on another team.

Great draft anybody that says the Bengals had a bad draft clearly doesn't know what a good football player looks like. The Bengals did very good. They also did pretty good signing some college free agents. I can't wait to see the Watson kid he is 6'2 240 pound running back. Watson broke all of Christian Okoye's running back college records.

It really doesn't matter with Hill and Gio. Not many carries left. Better be able to play on special teams or you won't be active. Hard to believe Wilder or Watson can beat out REx or Ced. Ced is a special teams stuf. It is why he has had an NFL career.

I read that Shaw (I think) was one of the best gunners in college football, so I expect him to play a lot of special teams this upcoming season.

The Bengals did not have a sexy draft, but it looks like they built depth at a lot of key positions. Overall, I am very pleased. There were not any glaring needs, but I think they addressed most positions that needed attention.

Is he this years James Wilder for you whom you were big on and didn't make the active roster like you thought? It probably will be between Wilder and this college free agent to see who is on the practice squad.

He lead the NCAA in rushing and scoring!

Yeah which is why your boy Wilder will be battling him just to make the practice squad. Neither makes the actual roster unless one of the running backs gets hurt and if that happened it would be a bad thing.

Watson also played on every special team in college.

So your boy Wilder probably has even less chance to even make the practice squad then.

He will make the team. If he doesn't I hope the Steelers pick him up or Tampa.

Making the practice squad is not making the team. You said the same stuff last year, and I told you last year he wouldn't make the team and he didn't. Now they have this new undrafted RB who based off what you are saying is probabaly even better than Wilder. So unless there are injuries this new guy will probably make the practice squad and Wilder will be gone.

I am looking forward to next years undrafted RB class and who will be the next undrafted RB that you are real big on lol.

Just watch!

I watched him make the practice squad last year after you talked Wilder up and said how he definitely would make the team. Which when I asked you if you meant practice squad you said no the 53 man roster, and well we seen how that turned out. So maybe you will have better luck on year 2 with Wilder.

I will tell you this much. Kyle Caskey likes the big backs plus Peerman is getting older and Buckhead has had hard time getting on the field. Wilder is also working out at fullback. I think Wilder and Watson both make the team this year.

You do realize they love Burkhead right? Plus he just showed last year that not only is a runningback, he can also catch the ball and run routes. Hill, Bernard, Burkhead, and Hewitt are all locks to make the team. The only hope any of the guys you mentioned have to making the team is an injury, and as a Bengal fan I would not want any of those guys mentioned to get hurt because it would be a step down.

Their only hope is to out play Peerman. However the Bengal coaches always love their veteran special team captain, so he would be hard to pass up. So as I said last year which you failed to take me up on. I would love to make an avatar bet with you that neither of those players make the team over any of the current guys unless their is an injury. Are you willing to take the bet this year unlike last year when you talked up how Wilder would make the team when he didn't.
