Conner JV beat Simon Kenton earlier tonight, 11-0. Complete game shutout by Conner pitcher Nate Atkins (freshman).

 

CovCath will play Conner JV tomorrow, 7:00PM at Dixie. Game might be moved up earlier in the day.

 

Based on previous head to head results, sounds like a great matchup. Hope Mother Nature cooperates.

Game moved to CovCath and is now at 1:00.

Max Schrand did a nice job on the mound. Threw a lot of strikes.

BW first baseman #40 has a nice stroke. That HR he hit was impressive.

 

Maile sure does rip the ball as well.

Colonels won 11-4 or 11-5. Mayer came in and shut down Conner for the last 4 innings.

Congrats to the Cougars on the year. Started out 0-9. Finished something like 13-6 over the last 19. Lots of frosh and most will return to JV next year.

Congrats to the Cov Cath players, coaches, and fans. That makes them the freshmen and JV champs. Solid work from the young blue Colonels.
