I have read it 10 times V, and honestly, I'm still not sure what exactly you mean in regards to Swanigan.

If KY is going to continue this program the KABC or Lions Club need to make drastic changes. It's been awhile, if ever, that we put our best kids together as a team and really worked to win. IMO

Is kind of confusing isn't it. Goldie and I sat together and watched him play his first game there at Dunbar. He did not look good and we were not impressed with his play at all. He's also not much to look at physically, below the rim player and kind of a "saggy", heavyset build. Neither of us thought we saw a potential UK player on the floor watching him.

 

Now to be fair he evidently did have a very good 2nd game, but I wasn't there to see that one.

I don't mind his build. He's just more of a traditional back to the basket player, a dying breed. However, his footwork needs major work if he's gonna use that build at the college level.

The thing for me about his build is he just didn't seem to be in good shape. Now it was very early in the season and maybe he got in better shape as the season went along, but still. He did seem to have good, soft hands for a big man, that was one and about the only positive I took away from that particular game.
