April 8, 201511 yr Author Wound up with this lineup for next week (see below). I dropped Rajai Davis and moved Fernandez to the DL. Those allowed me to pick up Khris Bryant (who I am starting next week) and Adam Ottavino, a RP in Colorado with good numbers who looks to be firmly in control as a set-up guy (for holds). I have an outstanding trade out there asking for Sonny Gray and Billy Butler (who I think will have a HUGE year in Oakland, as the A's usually get one guy each season that they get in, tinker with his swing, and get results) in exchange for giving up Gio Gonzales and Ryan Zimmerman. Any moves I make from here forward are going to be made with an eye toward my power numbers. If I trade/drop anyone, I'm most likely going to look at the pitching staff first.
April 8, 201511 yr Author Bryant won't be up till end of next week. Geez, I'm bad off today. Sorry, meant Khris Davis. Bryant is already owned. Same goes for a lot of the names mentioned in the thread so far. All of the guys in this league seem like killers and I'm kind of in over my head.
April 10, 201511 yr I had read some good stuff on Shane Green from DET and he looked good yesterday. Key for him is to pound the zone but he has pretty good stuff and probably isn't owned in a lot of leagues.
April 15, 201511 yr I had read some good stuff on Shane Green from DET and he looked good yesterday. Key for him is to pound the zone but he has pretty good stuff and probably isn't owned in a lot of leagues. If Green is still available, pick him up. Shut out the Pirates last night for 8 innings and only threw 81 pitches. His K numbers will go up too.

April 17, 201511 yr Author Jake Odorizzi available? No such luck. These guys are killers and usually when someone is suggested here, someone else has had them for awhile.
April 17, 201511 yr Author Alex Rodriguez is actually available? Would it be a bad idea to take a flyer on him next week? I also have Ryan Zimmerman (3B & OF eligible but a health risk), Carlos Santana (3B, 1B, & DH eligible), Miguel Cabrera (1B, DH). I've been using Ben Zobrist as my utillity player, but obviously there are a few places I could plug him in. I'm worried about my power numbers, so I could see ARod and the short porch at Yankee Stadium possibly being valuable.

If A-Rod is on the field he'll drive in runs because that's what he does. I also have Ryan Zimmerman but he will have 1B available here soon too so you can move guys around based on match ups. I really need Zimmerman to start hitting.
April 23, 201511 yr Author How does everyone feel about Devon Travis and Dalton Pompey of Toronto? Thanks to everyone's suggestions, my pitching is stacked. So stacked that I don't know who to drop (I picked up Joba for holds, which our league does and of which I have 0). Here's my lineup for next week. Any suggestions on adding some power that I'm lacking (namely HRs and RBIs)? I'm trying to trade some pitching for hitting, so any suggestions on some guys who'd be good buy-low, sell-high would be greatly appreciated.
April 24, 201511 yr Iwakuma would be first pitcher I'd drop. If you're using Zobrist for OF, I would look to trade him for someone needing MIF. Also, I'm not a big fan of Kipnis either.
