Is there a simple way to do this? The simpler way the better.

 

Need to be able to play a video someplace that has no Wifi or 4G access.

Your best bet would to be download the video onto your computer (a browser extension would be the best way to do this) and to then use iTunes to put it on your iPod or iPhone or use iTunes or Windows Media Player to burn to a CD.

Try downloading this here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/

 

Then restart the browser after completion of download

 

Go to youtube and there should be a button on the video or on the toolbar. I'll put some screenshots up later today.

Step 2: Click "Install Now"

 

 

Step 3: Go to your Youtube Video and click the Button in the top right corner

 

 

Step 4: Click on the "plus sign" for the video you want to download

 

 

Step 5: Click "Download"

I could not find an extension to download for Chrome, but I've used this website in the past.
