Paintsville 19 Lawrence Co. 7

Featured Replies

Final from Paintsville. Paintsville had 17 hits as a team. Kevin Williams hits a 2 run blast in this one. Williams went 3-4 on the game with 4 RBI's. Andrew Brown continued to swing the bat well for Paintsville. Cory Humphrey, a Lawrence Co. transfer, hit the ball well today today including a triple to deep right center field. Johnathon Miller picks up the win on the mound for Paintsville. He pitched really well keeping hitters off balance. Loss goes to Chandler Shepard. Great game Tigers.

i think big tuck might be gettin em straight. i know he was limiting innings for his pitchers for quite some time. that's a hard thing to commit to when you're losing games. kudos to tuck.

Yes, Shepherd is 13-7th grader. He pithced 3 innings against Paintsville.

Kid was 4-0 going into that game

Does Daniel Pugh play baseball? If so what position does he play and how good is he.

he's a stud at the plate

SS and sees some time on the mound. I would rate him as one of the top hitters in the area. He is a 5 tool player. (BA average, power, defense, speed, and arm strength.) He played CF last year but moved backed to SS this year. While I am all for kids playing all sports (we are class 'A' so we need everyone) it is interesting to see how good some of these guys could be if they focused on just one sport year round.
