Sgt. Charged With Desertion Has Harrowing Tale Of Capture

Featured Replies

Isn't it convenient that those details come out the same day as the charges are announced?

Well boo hoo. What did he think was going to happen when he deserted his post and decided to join them.

Lets wait till the details come out during his trial before we pronounce him guilty of desertion . Then if he is found guilty throw the book at him .Remember John8:7 & James5:9 ,

^Has a single fellow soldier that was in his unit come to his defense? I think it's pretty clear the guy simply walked away.

And do they know what happened ? NO . Are they prescient ? NO.

You mean just like people waited until all the details of the Ferguson shooting came out before condemning Darren Wilson?

People in his unit would know better than anyone his mindset and intentions. If he wasn't a deserter or if he was a good soldier wouldn't atleast one soldier in his unit come to his defense? You can tell alot from a man by what the people closest to him think of him.

I don't think something like this photo alone is very conclusive proof. Not hard to get that photo op if you are alleging what he is. Maybe people in his unit have been told to keep quiet as well.

I do think it's an interesting story, and haven't made any judgements either way, and the title alone says as much, the accused does have a harrowing tale. Maybe it's completely false, but it's what he's saying right now.

If it was true what happned then the military wouldnt have found him guilty. Im sure they know the real story. Even the WH to hide their screwup (once again and 1 of many) tried to get the military to not do it.

No not at all

Not if he wasn't liked . Maybe a conspiracy of silence huh ?

Why does Bergdahl deserve the benefit of doubt when Darren Wilson didn't?

If he wasnt liked then why did they go in search of him.

The military got it right. Only thing left is how will he be punished.
