He will get a chance to compete, but I would be shocked if he wins the job I have stated my personal opinion on this subject before. I believe Morgan is the better QB and gives the team a better chance to win. Guess the college scouts think so too.

I'm happy for any kid from any school that gets to get a college education and gets to play football at any level. My point is that you have not had the best eye for this sort of thing, so I would lay off the Morgan. Let's be clear, the kid could have shown up and enrolled anywhere and more than likely earned a starting job. He is that good. Your angst and jealousy are very transparent. He came home where he left. Whether his parents looked to make sure he was best fitted at Ryle in his best interest and nobody else's call. Why do some kids go to CCH or Highlands? Because they want to be a part of something special, and he will be. He sure didn't pick SK and he would have taken that job.

You do realize that the main difference in 1A and 6A isle enrollment right? 6A doesn't mean every team in 6A is far superior than every team in every other class. High school football is high school football. Are you telling everyone that Beechwoods QB Fieger couldn't play QB for SK? Actually I think he would be better at SK.

When it comes to an individuals talent size of your school is rarely an issue. Team completion yes. As an individual you can either play or not.

Not really sure what started the discussion but you would have to agree that there is a difference between 6A and 1A. If I can pick my best 11 from 100 boys versus picking my best 11 from 40,,, I think I could have better success since my talent pool is larger. As a result,, the teams you would be playing against would be better overall. Just my opinion
