Not true. Not all disciplines that use the word "theory" require the same characteristics for something to be called a theory.

 

I do know what scientific theory is and under the definition of a scientific theory, The Big Bang cannot be confirmed through observation and experimentation. Therefore, it has not met the requirements of a scientific theory.

 

I'll tell you what, I'll change the wording. The Big Bang is just an unproven belief, based on the doctrine of science.
