I am not saying this guy isnt a good coach. But as for more experience I know of 2 guys that applied that have turned programs around just like Carroll.

Well, that would explain some of it I guess. Anyone know of any names that have applied other than Johnny Poynter and Lee Downey? I did hear asst coach from Ballard (Chappell) maybe and couple of head coaches from that area, one I could see and the other would have been a stretch, but who knows.

Who would that be?

I heard Justin Franklin (Trimble County) and Jason Spencer (Henry County), Spencer being the stretch. Anyone have a clue or does anyone care for that matter?

Franklin played for Carroll County but he has stated many times he wouldn't leave what he has built over the past couple of years. Though he has a challenge this year of replacing 13 seniors in leadership roles as well as playmaking ability. With 8 starting on defense and 9 starting on offense. Should be interesting season for the Raiders.
