All four district champs vanquished the runner-ups on Saturday. That hasn't happened since 2007, when Anderson County, Oldham County, Gallatin County, and Simon Kenton all won first round games.

Monday 6 pm - Grant County vs. Oldham County - The first meeting between these two teams was a rout. But that game was long ago, Grant County was missing some players then, and the Braves have already avenged one big loss in the tournament, defeating a Shelby County team that beat the Braves by 21 in the regular season. These are two of the best shooting teams in the 8th region, so it's no surprise both are here.

Monday 8 pm - Owen County vs. Collins - A rematch of a late season game won by Collins when the Titans spotted Owen a big lead and roared back behind their tough defense to win by double figures. Owen had a tough first round game with North Oldham but prevailed with a fourth quarter surge; Collins, as usual, rode their defense to a win over Simon Kenton in round one.

All games broadcast live over the Pegasus Sports Network. The Pegasus Sports Network - PSN

Pregame show begins at 5:45 pm for the first game; 7:45 for the second.

Oldham/Collins final

Looking forward to these two games.

While I'm at it, MANY THANKS to the good folks at Henry County HS. Athletic Director Todd Gilley and IT guru Drew Kirkman have been wonderful to Pegasus Sports.

Oldham wins semifinal game and then championship

I think it'll be Oldham vs Collins, Colonels take the crown. I would like to see Grant knock them off.

I think this is Oldhams Tournament to lose. They are strong...

like i said in an earlier thread..... give OLD Co. the trophy and call it done.
