March 8, 201511 yr Author Villanova only led by 3 at the half. St. John's is by no means a slouch either. IMO, Villanova is a better team than last year and don't see them exiting the NCAA tournament early this year. No doubt they are looking good.

Honestly they would be a crazy matchup for UK.

Seems like Villanova is the one power team that doesn't get a lot of attention, even though they're rated very high. When the talking heads are discussing basketball it's usually UK, Duke, Wisconsin, Arizona, but Villanova is only occasionally mentioned. At least it appears that way to me. But they are going to be a dangerous team for anyone to play. I think they're a scary matchup for UK or anyone else.

I think that U.K.'s threats in the tournament are (in no certain "better" order) Arizona, Wisconsin and Villinova. Possibly Gonzaga, they are huge and very good offensively but they have a history of bowing out early in ncaa tourney.
