Who wins and why?

Lincoln is no doubt the favorite.

 

I had a friend (from Lincoln) tell me yesterday that he was rooting for Southwest to beat Mercer due to the match-up issues that Mercer presents for them. He attended the previous game at Lincoln about 4 weeks ago where Mercer was up after 3 quarters. I think it'll be a great one, but there's no question Lincoln is the favorite.

Mercer will beat Lincoln. Mercer is more physical. If Lincoln don't rebound the basketball Malik Dow, Elijah Mink, and Drew Davis will have a field day. Will Hager is real, real good I love his game. I know Lincoln won a few weeks ago, but Dow was coming off a injury and will be healthy. I though Casey County did a great job defending Timmy Taylor and getting him frustrated a lil bit. If he plays bad, SEASON IS OVER!

I honestly think Mercer is the "Cinderella" of this tournament if you will, but not by much. Not meaning that they are a big underdog in every game, just don't think many people had them beating Southwestern. Lincoln at home is tough for anybody to play against, as we have seen for many years...but I think Mercer wins this game with a Will Hager layup before time expires. Either Mercer wins by 2, or Lincoln wins by 16. Heck, what do I know? :popcorn:
