March 4, 201511 yr Who is Jim Cantore? :idunno: He's one of The Weather Channels top level meteorologists. He's kind of famous/infamous for being sent into the fire of bad weather. The joke is always kind of a "you know its going to be bad when Jim shows up." And weirdly enough, it's pretty frequently correct.
