Bath County has came open. Who will be some of the candidates for the position?

What transpired to cause this opening?

Interesting. Coach Fields was 10 seasons in at Bath County.

2005: 1-9

2006: 7-4

2007: 7-4

2008: 8-4

2009: 2-9

2010: 2-9

2011: 3-7

2012: 8-3

2013: 3-7

2014: 2-8

1-7 overall record in the playoffs.

Have no idea just got word today that it came open.

I'm guessing Johnny and Jimmy thought they would be better playing the scorched earth offense instead of the Wing T and the only thing holding them back was Coach Fields in their parents mind, that's usually how these things work.

Not the case on this one. Superintendant made the call. Staff had already began preparing for next season.

Scorched earth spread offense would not be the best choice for their personnel and would take 1-2 seasons to fully implement starting this late in hiring process. Need a balanced offense but defensive mind is a must.

I'm going to say that he had external pressure somewhere, surely this decision wasn't just made by himself at the end of February.

Best of luck to Coach Fields wherever he decides to go next.
