Bellevue vs. Ludlow re-schedule for Conference Title

Featured Replies

Sorry, meant the Bellevue/Ludlow game was for the Conference Championship.

Haven't followed each team much but did Ludlow wind up losing a game in the conference? What was Bellevues conference record? That could be the determining factor?

Ludlow was 8-0 in Conference. Good job Ludlow. I think all of us wanted to see Ludlow vs Dayton as well as Ludlow vs Bellevue. Bottom line Ludlow won the games early and sorry about your luck Bellevue. Ludlow was by far the best team of the three. Ludlow beat Bellevue without Tori Wofford and with Tori Wofford. Play the game 10 times and Ludlow wins 9 out of 10 or maybe all 10. Ludlow just played a bad game against Dayton but still won. I have no ties to any of the 3 teams but I did follow Ludlow this year as I thought they were a fun team to watch. I don't always agree with Coach Wofford but this time I am in her corner. Good job at going 8-0. Ludlow should beat Villa in District play and advance to play Dixie. I blew Ludlow's horn to give Dixie a game two weeks ago. I was so wrong. Dixie was to strong. My thought is Ludlow should lean on Tibbs with the big girls and take her out of the game. Foul her, she will not like contact. Make her beat you from the foul line.

Coach Wofford,

I will follow another team next year but I will root for your Panthers until this year is over.

Good Luck.

This is a silly conversation...the school district cancelled all extracurricular events Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Well considering Bellevue beat Dayton Twice in Conference play, not sure your arguement makes much sense. The Conference Championship came down to the Bellevue/Dayton Game and Ludlow elected not to want to play that game. They chose to reschedule the Dayton game instead of the Bellevue. No one can deny the fact that game decided the Conference Championship, not the Dayton game.

How does that game decide the conference champion? Even if Bellevue won they wouldn't be the out right champion they would be co-champs with Luldow still. At the end of the day Ludlow was going to be champs no matter what. So since they had already beaten Bellevue twice once in conference and once in the All A. The game that makes more sense to be played would have been able to play Dayton a second time rather than Bellevue three times and only Dayton once.

At the end of the day though as Panther8404 the school canceled all sporting activities anyways, so this whole discussion doesn't matter.

Bellevue was missing two starters in the All A Classic. So let me get this straight, Ludlow should play Dayton in a game that means nothing, verses playing Bellevue who has a shot at Co-Champs. Lol, seems reasonable. Bellevue was 8-1 in the Conference. Congrats to Ludlow, they were Conference Champs without playing two of their tougher games.

The whole point is Bellevue/Ludlow were playing for the Conference Championship (or at least a share of it) and Ludlow decided to play a meaningless game instead. Granted the game was not played, but it was just the point that Ludlow didn't want to play for a share of the Conference or a least give Bellevue the opportunity. If Bellevue would have beat Ludlow in the All A, do you really think Ludlow would agree to be Co-Champs. NO WAY!

Ludlow was missing Wofford in the All A. Wofford was better than any of Bellevue's players. And Ludlow won. I believe the next game was at Bellevue and both teams were at full strength and Ludlow won again. I want to see the game as much as anyone else but bottom line Bellevue choked at HOME.

Ludlow Division 3 Champs. Enough Said.

You can use the All-A as NKAC Conference games if both teams agree. It is done by Division 2 NKAC teams more than Division 3 NKAC mostly because of the max number of games is reached or weather. And that is probably because Division 2 teams do not put much importance on the NKAC games. But in Division 3 it is a big deal to the schools and it is too bad all the games can't be played. Maybe a suggestion would be to leave the last week or 10 days of the season for non-conference play and then if games need to be made up it would be easier to do?

This is how these situations where handeled when I played in this conference.
